Definitions
Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate an understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject and meets evolving objectives in both.
Art as curriculum is art for art's sake.
Art enhanced curriculum is using art to assist in learning (e.g., using the ABC song to remember the alphabet), but no art is created.
